First Kentucky Rifle Regiment - the parent organization of the CCI Re-enacting Club. For those CCI students who want to continue re-enacting after graduation and take re-enacting to a whole new level (everyone has a working musket on the battlefield, cannons, ground charges, stage hand-to-hand combat ..... try Youtube videos such as the many Fort Erie battle videos, or marching to battle Stoney Creek 2011, or Sacket's Harbour shako-cam view of a battle....). This unit also re-enacts as the 3rd York Militia, Captain Robinson's company - when there are fewer Canadian than American dressed re-enactors....
The 19th US Regulars - a wealth of information on clothing, music, drill, etc from a respected US reenacting group.... besides, they are friends of the 1st Kentucky Rifles....
Fort McHenry Guard - the only place I know of that has videos and pictures of how to actually do War of 1812 drill.
The British 49th Grenadier Company - The guys in red who come out and help run our Grade 7 Day. If you wish to fight for the British/Canadian side, we highly recommend you to get in contact with this group.
